Macroinvertebrates

At each sampling site, three benthic subsamples (a,b,c) were taken along the depth gradient with hand net of 250 μm mesh or Van Veen/Ekman grab sampler, depending on the water depth and substrate type. Subsamples a,b,c were merged into a single sample, and processed as such.
